Wabi Cushion - 100% Recycled Linen

A favourite of mine are these beautiful 100% recycled hand-loomed in rust.

Wabi: Japanese wabi-sabi philosophy. Imperfectly imperfect, authenticity, acceptance of transcience,.  Embracing the concept that nothing last, nothing is finished, nothing is perfect - and that's where real beauty lives.

Wabi translates to "wisdom in natural simplicity". Flawed beauty. Each piece in hand-spun using leftover linen yarns often discarded after production.  Recycled, raw, irregular.  Chunky weave, highly textured. Rust with irregular pops of ivory and natural yarn woven into the face.  Made by our artisan partners in India.  Natural imperfections and slight shedding are part of the beauty.  Wisdom in what gets saved, not thrown away.
